I am an Associate Professor (CHS) in the Nuclear Medicine Section of the Department of Radiology. I am engaged in translational molecular imaging research as Association Section Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Director of the new Clinical GMP Radiopharmaceutical Production Facility, Director of the University of Wisconsin Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center (UWCCC) Cancer Research Imaging Core, and Associate Director of the UW PET Imaging Center. My research interest involves translational imaging, with a focus on clinical translation of novel and existing PET radiopharmaceuticals to improve clinical management and therapy development for cancer, with current focus on prostate cancer and lymphoma. I have interest also in pursuing more involvement in non-oncologic imaging in PET imaging of brown adipose tissue and collaborating on a pilot study for pancreatic PET imaging using Manganese-51 PET, as well as other PET/Molecular Imaging of metabolism.
