Elizabeth Mann, MD, is a pediatric endocrinologist at UW Health and an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Mann cares for children and young people with all forms of diabetes including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as less common genetic forms of the disease.
As director of the UW Health Kids Pediatric Type 2 Diabetes Program, Dr. Mann helps patients and families navigate life with diabetes, using the latest treatments and tools.
In addition to serving local children and families, Dr. Mann is involved in regional and national diabetes education and advocacy. Dr. Mann is the local principal investigator for the T1D Exchange Quality Improvement Collaborative. In this role, she collaborates with other pediatric diabetes programs across the country to improve diabetes care and clinical outcomes for children living with type 1 diabetes. Her research involves quality improvement in care delivery models and glycemic and quality of life outcomes for youth with diabetes.
