Core Description:
The long-term goal of the Translational Research in Diabetes Core (TRC) is to facilitate diabetes and metabolism-related research, optimizing its efficiency, likelihood of success, and cost-effectiveness. This goal aligns well with the overarching mission of the center to strengthen and connect our exceptional research programs across the basic/clinical/translational spectrum and to engage key stakeholders to advance discovery and increase our impact. Our primary objective within the TRC is to support investigators as they discover, develop and disseminate interventions to ameliorate the impact of diabetes and related disorders on human health. This core is currently under development but we have provided links below for resources on campus for many of our key partners.
